Job summary

Maersk is seeking a GRC Senior Validation Advisor to execute control assurance across business processes and technology-enabled controls, with emphasis on automated testing and SAP configurations. You will work with stakeholders to validate critical controls and ensure compliance.

The role requires 4-6 years in Internal Audit or GRC, CA or equivalents, and hands-on experience with SAP environments, SoD controls, and analytics tools such as Power BI or SQL. Remote/hybrid options may be available.

Qualifications

• CA or equivalent; CISA/CIA/SAP certifications advantageous.
• 4-6 years in Internal Audit, Risk Assurance, or GRC roles.
• Hands-on control testing experience in IT/audit.
• Experience with SAP environments and ERP-based control frameworks.
• Familiarity with Power BI or SQL for analytics.

Responsibilities

• Execute risk-based control testing and validation activities.

• Perform walkthroughs, evidence review and documentation.
• Test automated controls within SAP and other enterprise systems.
• Review and validate system configurations supporting key controls.
• Support testing across P2P, O2C, R2R, Master Data, Inventory and Logistics.
• Assess workflow approvals, validation checks, tolerance limits and exception monitoring.
• Perform SAP configuration reviews.
• Leverage data analytics to identify control exceptions and trends.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Support issue validation and remediation tracking.

• Execute risk-based control testing and validation activities.
• Assess manual, IT-dependent and automated controls.
• Perform walkthroughs, evidence review and documentation.
• Execute testing of automated controls within SAP and other enterprise systems.
• Review and validate system configurations supporting key controls.
• Support testing across P2P, O2C, R2R, Master Data, Inventory and Logistics processes.
• Assess workflow approvals, validation checks, tolerance limits and exception monitoring controls.
• Perform SAP configuration reviews.

• Preferred exposure to SAP ECC/S4HANA, SoD controls, workflow controls, and analytics tools such as Power BI or SQL.
