Job summary

Social Connexions in Chennai is seeking a senior graphic designer to lead visual branding across client projects. You will craft logos, brand identities, packaging, menus and marketing collateral, translating briefs into compelling concepts for both digital and print.

Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a creative or digital marketing setting.
• Strong portfolio showcasing social media, branding, logo and packaging design.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign; Canva is an advantage.
• Strong creative thinking with an excellent eye for typography, colour and composition.
• Ability to create original concepts, not template-based designs.
• Comfortable handling multiple brands and projects simultaneously.
• Able to understand briefs and turn ideas into strong visual concepts.
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to work within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, creative designs for multiple client brands under Social Connexions.
• Design monthly Instagram posts, stories, carousels, campaign creatives and digital advertisements.
• Develop logos, brand identities, brand guidelines and visual concepts from scratch.
• Create packaging designs, menus, brochures, flyers, presentations and other marketing collateral.
• Develop fresh creative concepts rather than relying on templates.
• Understand each clients brand identity and maintain visual consistency across all designs.
• Work across multiple client projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Translate client briefs and marketing ideas into strong, visually engaging concepts.
• Coordinate with the marketing and content team to develop campaign creatives.
• Handle design revisions and client feedback efficiently.
• Prepare final artwork in the correct formats and dimensions for both digital and print use.
• Stay updated with current design, branding and social media trends.
• Bring a strong creative eye for typography, layouts, colour, composition and overall brand aesthetics.
• Take ownership of assigned projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
