Job description

1. Develop and customise WordPress websites based on business requirements and design specifications.


2. Integrate and configure plugins and themes to enhance website functionality.


3. Stay updated with the latest WordPress updates, trends, and best practices.


4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth website operation.


5. Optimise website performance for speed, responsiveness, and SEO.


6. Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.


7. Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using adobe design software.


8. Develop and design graphics for digital and print media, including advertisements, social media, websites, and marketing materials.


9. Work with copywriters and creative directors to produce final design.


10. Work with marketing, product, and content teams to understand project requirements and translate concepts into compelling visual designs.


11. Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilities.


12. Follow design trends and best practices to ensure that all graphics are creative and on-brand.

1. Understanding of financial markets & financial technologies.


2. Work experience in the financial services industry.


3. Experience with motion graphics or video editing tools like Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro.

Requirements

• Min 5+ years of working experience as a Graphic Designer/ Word press developer.


• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple design projects simultaneously.


• Strong understanding of WordPress themes, templates, and plugins.


• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery


• Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite


• You should have sound knowledge of WordPress and have already integrated 10+ websites single-handedly.


• Experience with website builders like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery


• Create compelling visual content for various platforms, including digital and print media. Develop logos, media kits, presentations and other brand assets.


• In-depth understanding of front-end technologies, like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery


• Experience with Content Management Systems (WCMS - Wordpress, Team Site, CQ5, etc.).


• Back up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery.


• Able to understand design specifications and client requirements.
