Job summary

Cimpress India is looking for Graphic Designer Trainees for a 6-month internship that begins with mandatory in-office training at our Ahmedabad office. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, along with essential design principles.

After the training, this is a full-time work-from-home opportunity. Candidates must be flexible about working in rotational shifts, including night shifts. Prior experience in graphic design and good communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in graphic design preferred.
• Experience in freelance print design, corporate identity work, or with design firms is advantageous.
• Participation in design-related activities such as sketching will be beneficial.

Cimpress India is hiring Graphic Designer Trainees for a 6-month internship program.

Important: A mandatory 3-month in-office training at our Cimpress Ahmedabad office is required at the beginning of the internship.

Role & Responsibilities

• Good understanding of graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Basic knowledge of design principles including Typography, Color Theory, Layout Design, and Design Trends.
• Ability to understand customer requirements in English with basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software applications and design tools.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with a customer-centric approach to design.
• Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse and collaborative environment.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.

Eligibility Criteria

• Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Prior experience of 1+ year in graphic design preferred.
• Experience in freelance print design, corporate identity work, or working with creative/design firms is an advantage.
• Participation in design workshops, projects, or activities involving sketching, doodling, calligraphy, pencil art, etc., will be an added advantage.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook is preferred.

Shift Requirements

Candidates must be flexible to work in rotational shifts, including complete night shifts. This is a full-time work-from-home opportunity after the mandatory training period in Ahmedabad.
