Role Description

The Graphic Design Intern will work full time on-site at the Mumbai office, supporting the design and marketing teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating visual assets for digital and print media, assisting with branding and logo adaptations, and developing graphics for social media, presentations, and promotional materials. The intern will help with image editing and layout design for catalogs, brochures, and other customer-facing materials. The role also includes collaborating with team members to maintain brand consistency, preparing design files for production, and contributing fresh ideas that reflect BFT’s heritage and design ethos.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to create visually compelling layouts and assets.


• Skills in Logo Design and Branding to support brand identity, visual guidelines, and promotional campaigns.


• Proficiency in Image Editing using standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software).


• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field or undergraduate/graduate with relevant experience or skills.


• Portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, attention to detail, and an understanding of typography, color, and composition.


• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.


• Interest in interior design, architecture, or heritage brands is an advantage.
