Job summary

Volvo Group invites BCom/BBA graduates to join as Graduate Apprentice Trainee in Bangalore for 1 year under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme. The role centers on hands-on financial tasks, journal entries, GST and TDS support, and ERP/SAP usage in a collaborative finance team.

You will work from office in Bangalore, with exposure to month-end close processes and financial reporting while learning under experienced mentors in Group Finance.

Qualifications

• BCom/BBA graduate; degrees and provisional certificates mandatory.
• Graduation expected 2024/2025/2026.
• Assist in preparing and posting journal entries in the general ledger.
• Support in GST, TDS and Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Support in the preparation of workings for the remittance of TDS & GST.
• Information support for periodic return filings for TDS, GST etc.
• Handle employee claims and settlements.
• Perform account reconciliations (balance sheet reconciliations).
• Coordinate with other finance teams (P2P, O2C) for data accuracy.
• Learn and use ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for financial transaction.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Help in preparing financial statements and reports.

The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 amended in 1973; Volvo Group offers Graduate,a practical, hands‑on On‑the‑Job‑Training (OJT) based skilling opportunities with duration of 1 year.

Qualifications & Experience

• BCom/BBA Graduate; passed out in 2024/2025/2026. (All mark sheets and provisional degree certificate is mandatory)
