Qualifications

• Graduate degree in commerce or related fields.
• Gold appraisal certification is a plus.
• Experience or aptitude in gold loan processing, customer service, and markets.

• Appraise gold value (purity testing, weight verification) and process loan applications with KYC.
• Serve customers with product guidance and handle queries to improve retention.
• Manage cash transactions and branch records; support MIS and data entry.
• Assist in audits, maintain compliance with KYC and internal policies.
• Conduct local marketing efforts and build relations with jewelers and influencers.

Role Purpose

To drive gold loan sourcing, appraisal, and customer servicing at the branch level by ensuring accurate loan processing, strong customer engagement, and compliance with operational and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Acquisition Business Generation
  • Source gold loan business through walk-ins, local references, and field activities
  • Achieve monthly disbursement and portfolio growth targets
  • Generate leads through referrals and cross-sell financial products (insurance, loans, etc)
• Gold Appraisal Loan Processing
  • Conduct gold valuation (purity testing, weight verification) as per company standards
  • Process loan applications including documentation, KYC verification, and data entry
  • Ensure accurate loan disbursement, renewal, and closure within TAT
  • Counsel customers on eligibility, interest rates, and repayment terms
• Customer Relationship Service
  • Handle customer queries (walk-in, phone, email) and provide product guidance
  • Build strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and retention
  • Conduct follow-ups for renewals, collections, and overdue cases
• Branch Operations Cash Handling
  • Manage cash transactions and ensure adherence to cash handling guidelines
  • Support maintenance of branch records, daily MIS, and system data
  • Assist in gold packet handling, tagging, and storage processes
• Compliance Audit Support
  • Ensure adherence to KYC norms and internal policies for all transactions
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all loans
  • Support internal/external audits and ensure zero deviations
• Market Outreach Local Engagement
  • Conduct local marketing activities, roadshows, and campaigns
  • Build relationships with local influencers, jewelers, and connectors
  • Track competitor offerings and gold price trends
