Job summary

Uberlife Consulting in Bengaluru seeks an experienced backend engineering leader to guide the design and delivery of high-performance, low-latency services. You will own architecture decisions, drive end-to-end implementation, and mentor a growing team of engineers.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software engineering, deep Golang expertise, and proven ability to build scalable distributed systems with REST APIs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong Golang expertise.
• Experience with scalable, high-performance, highly available, low-latency distributed systems and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of DSA, system design, scalability, and performance optimization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong Golang expertise.
• Strong experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB.
• Proven experience building scalable, high-performance, highly available, low-latency distributed systems and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of DSA, system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Experience with service-oriented/distributed architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, and/or Kafka.
• Fintech experience across investments, trading, wealth management, or market analytics is a plus.
• Exposure to GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker is preferred.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and experience working in startup/high-growth environments.
