Job summary

EY in Mumbai is seeking a Global Managed Service – Identity and Access Management Senior to lead Okta provisioning and secure access across the organization. The role emphasizes designing efficient onboarding/offboarding workflows and maintaining strong IAM controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3–5 years of identity and access management experience with Okta or similar IAM platforms.
• Knowledge of SSO, MFA, directory services, and cloud identity management.
• Familiarity with SOX, HIPAA, GDPR compliance.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration of user accounts, roles, and access within Okta.
• Design provisioning/de-provisioning workflows with HR, IT and security.
• Serve as SME for Okta authentication, authorization, SSO, and MFA.
• Oversee integration of new apps with Okta and ensure seamless SSO.
• Develop IAM policies and documentation; keep them compliant.
• Conduct access reviews and audits to mitigate security risks.
• Provide training and guidance to end-users and junior analysts.
• Drive RBAC enhancements and governance initiatives.
• Stay updated on Okta releases and IAM best practices.
• Document processes, workflows, configurations, and monitoring reports.

Global Managed Service – Identity and access Management – Senior

The Okta Provisioning Senior Consultant is a critical role responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective management of user identities and access permissions within an organization using the Okta Identity Management platform. This senior-level position involves leading provisioning processes, developing strategies for integration and automation, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements / Responsibilities:

• Lead the administration and management of user accounts, roles, and access rights within the Okta platform.
• Design and implement efficient user provisioning and de-provisioning workflows in collaboration with HR, IT, and security teams.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Okta authentication, authorization, SSO, and MFA solutions.
• Oversee the integration of new applications with Okta and ensure seamless SSO experiences across the organization.
• Develop and maintain IAM policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
• Conduct regular access reviews and audits to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Provide advanced technical support and training to end-users and junior analysts regarding Okta functionalities and access management best practices.
• Drive identity governance initiatives and enhance role-based access control (RBAC) models.
• Recommend and implement improvements to IAM processes and the overall Okta environment.
• Stay informed about Okta updates, new features, and IAM industry trends to drive innovation within the organization.
• Develop and maintain documentation for processes, workflows, and configurations.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and IAM best practices.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders regarding identity management processes.
• Monitor and report on system performance, usage, and security issues.

Preferred Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in identity and access management, with a strong focus on Okta or similar IAM platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of IAM principles, SSO, MFA, directory services, and cloud identity management.
• Proven track record of managing complex user provisioning and de-provisioning scenarios.
• Familiarity with IT security standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior staff.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Okta Certified Administrator, Okta Certified Consultant, Okta Certified Professional) are highly desirable

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
