Job summary

GE HealthCare Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a Global Statutory COE Analyst to drive technical accounting compliance, strengthen internal controls, simplify processes, and ensure accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

You will coordinate with in-country statutory auditors, manage PBC documentation, lead small projects, and collaborate with global process leads to define and monitor GEHC standard statutory processes while supporting gap analyses and cross-functional relations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years progressive accounting or finance experience.
  • Professional certification (CPA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience with global processes and regulatory filings.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to ensure all statutory regulatory filings are completed timely, efficiently and in compliance with the country regulatory requirements.
  • Includes branches, legal entities and statutory consolidations from outside the US, and management of the statutory audit process where applicable.
  • Managing and liaising with in-country statutory auditors to ensure timely submission of all PBC documentation.
  • May lead projects with low risks and resource requirements.
  • Explain information, developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
  • Partner with various teams to develop and execute project plans, tracking milestones and stakeholders.

Global Statutory COE Analyst
Job Description Summary

Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.

In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible to ensure all statutory regulatory filings are completed timely, efficiently and in compliance with the country regulatory requirements.
  • This includes branches, legal entities and statutory consolidations from outside the US, as well as the management of the statutory audit process where applicable.
  • Responsible for managing and liaising with in-country statutory auditors to ensure timely submission of all PBC (Prepared-By-Client) documentation.
  • May lead projects with low risks and resource requirements.
  • Explains information, developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
  • Partner with various teams to develop and execute project plans, including tracking project milestones, identifying key stakeholders, integrating the dependencies and monitoring the timeline.
  • Work with the global process leads to define and monitor adherence to the GEHC standard Statutory processes and support gap analysis effort as required.
  • Help to develop projects to close gaps as necessary through partnership.
  • Other ad hoc projects assigned by manager.
  • Build and leverage strong cross functional relationships both in the Statutory teams, and other supporting function teams, BPO teams, business finance and operational leaders in the business as well as other teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in accounting, finance or other business-related field and minimum of 5 years progressive accounting or finance experience.
  • Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with Big 4 audit experience preferred.
  • Experience working in global business environment with a sound understanding of global process and transaction flows.
