Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA/CAD/CIS) desirable.
• 7–10 years of experience in software engineering or ServiceNow solution engineering.
• Hands-on ServiceNow development, configuration, administration, and support.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, and DevOps environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale SaaS platforms and integrated ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support ServiceNow applications and solutions.
• Deliver enhancements, defect fixes, and technical improvements within Agile cycles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, platform, and integration issues.
• Ensure solutions align with ServiceNow standards, architecture, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain customizations, workflows, automations, and integrations.
• Configure and support components including ACLs, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and APIs.
• Support and enhance modules ITSM SPM/EA ITOM GRC/SecOps HRSD.
• Contribute to new ServiceNow capabilities and modules implementation.
• Support platform releases, upgrades, patches, and environment management.
• Monitor platform performance, availability, and reliability.
• Drive automation and reduce technical debt.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and vendors to deliver business value.
• Assist knowledge transfer and onboarding for new solutions.

Job Description Summary

The ServiceNow Solution Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and continuously improving ServiceNow solutions that enable business outcomes. The role combines software engineering, platform expertise, and DevOps practices to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable services while ensuring platform stability, operational excellence, and adoption of ServiceNow best practices.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Design, develop, configure, and support ServiceNow applications and solutions.
• Deliver enhancements, defect fixes, and technical improvements within Agile delivery cycles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, platform, and integration issues.
• Ensure solutions align with ServiceNow standards, architecture, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain customizations, workflows, automations, and integrations.

• Support and enhance ServiceNow modules, including: ITSM SPM/EA ITOM GRC/SecOps HRSD

• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and technical debt reduction initiatives.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, support teams, and vendors to deliver business value.
• Support knowledge transfer and technical onboarding for new solutions and capabilities.
• Contribute to solution design, engineering standards, and technical best practices.
• Stay current with ServiceNow capabilities, emerging technologies, and industry trends.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS, or equivalent) are desirable.
• 7-10 years of experience in software engineering, application development, or ServiceNow solution engineering.
• Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, administration, and support.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and DevOps environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale SaaS platforms and integrated technology ecosystems.
• ServiceNow development and administration.
• JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, REST/SOAP web services, and API integrations.
• Client-side and server-side scripting, including GlideRecord and ServiceNow APIs.
• Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and ACLs.
• SaaS integrations, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience with Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications.
