THE ROLE

As the Global Head of Enterprise Architecture and Technology Strategy at Wipro Technologies, you will spearhead the evolution and delivery of integrated technology strategies that align with clients’ business goals and digital ambitions. You will provide visionary leadership to shape and expand our enterprise architecture function, guiding clients on their transformative journeys that incorporate cloud adoption, AI innovation, data management, cybersecurity enhancements, and operating model adjustments. This role demands a forward-thinking leader capable of bridging high-level strategic visions with practical, executable architecture and governance that drives measurable business outcomes.

Serving as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, and senior business leaders globally, you will navigate the complexities of technology modernization while fostering an enterprise architecture practice that is dynamic, product-focused, and AI-enabled. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain a world-class enterprise architecture framework that evolves to include AI-powered tooling, automated governance, and real-time decision-making capabilities.
• Design actionable technology strategies and transformation roadmaps that integrate applications, infrastructure, data, AI, security, and operating models, tailored to each client’s unique context and ambition.
• Lead and facilitate executive-level workshops, craft clear communication of complex technical strategies into business-impact narratives, and support risk-informed decision making at the board level.
• Represent Wipro in industry forums, collaborate with technology partners and analysts, and contribute thought leadership that solidifies the company’s positioning as a market leader in enterprise architecture consulting.
• Drive continuous innovation by incorporating emerging technologies such as generative AI, hybrid cloud architectures, and digital engineering advances into client solutions and internal capabilities.

• Guide design and deployment of hybrid and multi-cloud solutions with attention to regulatory compliance, data sovereignty, operational resilience, and cost optimization across global footprints.

Portfolio & Program Transformation

• Steer complex, multi-year digital transformation programs spanning multiple domains to align technology initiatives tightly with business objectives and market trends.
• Implement robust program governance frameworks incorporating architecture guardrails, performance dashboards, and value realization mechanisms aligned with strategic goals.

Commercial and Talent Leadership

• Lead growth initiatives by crafting compelling technology transformation propositions that resonate with client needs and market dynamics, securing strategic partnerships and engagements.
• Drive development of a global enterprise architecture community fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and leadership cultivation.
• Develop scalable intellectual property, methodologies, and thought leadership content that position Wipro as a pioneer and trusted advisor in technology strategy and architecture.

FIRST 12 MONTHS - SUCCESS PLAN

• Define and solidify the global enterprise architecture charter, governance structures, and operating model, ensuring they are tightly integrated with clients’ broader transformation initiatives.
• Enhance collaboration and alignment across consulting, transformation advisory, account management, and delivery teams to drive unified client experiences and outcomes.
• Implement federated chief technologist frameworks supporting strategic client accounts, enhancing personalized service and responsiveness.
• Expand consulting portfolio offerings emphasizing AI strategy, cloud modernization, and holistic digital transformation, adapting rapidly to evolving technologies and client demands.
• Establish repeatable, scalable methodologies for opportunity evaluation, executive engagement, strategic roadmap development, and quantifiable value measurement.
• Develop comprehensive talent management plans including recruitment, continuous professional development, performance management, and succession planning for enterprise architecture leadership.

- At least 25 years of progressive leadership experience encompassing technology, enterprise architecture, consulting, transformation, and engineering.
- Proven leadership in global enterprise architecture, digital and cloud transformation initiatives, and technology strategy development for large enterprises.
- Extensive history advising C-suite executives including CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders on multi-year, high-impact technology investments.
- Deep technical expertise spanning applications, cloud infrastructure, data strategy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, integration, engineering, and organizational operating models.
- Cross-industry and international experience with demonstrated success in consulting-driven business growth and influence.
- Skilled at managing and mentoring distributed, diverse teams, and developing scalable intellectual property and thought leadership.
- Adept at navigating complex matrix organizations, leveraging influence, collaboration, and strategic alignment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior executive roles such as CTO, Chief Architect, or global head of technology strategy and enterprise architecture.

Education & Logistics: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, business, or related disciplines is typically required; advanced degrees and certifications in architecture, cloud, security, engineering, or program management are considered advantageous.
