Job summary

Foundever in Hyderabad, India is seeking an experienced endpoint administrator responsible for end-to-end delivery, deployment and first-line operational support of Windows desktop endpoints, including security-hardened devices that meet HIPAA/PCI-like requirements.

You will work with SCCM/MECM and Intune for deployments, manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Intune, and scripting in PowerShell, and provide on-call support and escalation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years related experience or equivalent training.
• Experience with SCCM/MECM and/or Intune/MDM.
• Experience OS deployment, patch management and image creation.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, AD, GPO, DNS, networking and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve endpoint issues during incidents.
• On-call rotation for support and deployment activities.
• Implement/upgrade/remove software; manage device/user collections and deployments.
• Submit documentation per Foundever change management standards; administer on-site and remote systems.

Job Summary

This position has primary responsibility of the end-to-end delivery, deployment and first-line operational support of the enterprise endpoint environment, including maintenance of security-hardened Windows Desktop Endpoint devices that meet both HIPAA and PCI compliance requirements. Responsible for acquiring, installing, or upgrading computer components and software, providing routine automation, maintaining security policies and performing necessary troubleshooting. This position will also resolve tickets opened by onsite engineers and technical account teams for building, upgrading and maintaining client configurations and deployments.

Duties And Responsibilities

• This position coordinates with other engineering teams in resolving issues encountered during major incidents involving endpoints.
• Work in an on-call rotation schedule
• Participates in the implementation/upgrade/removal of software.
• Create and manage device and user collections, applications, packages, and task sequences.
• Key member in change management process and responsible for submitting documentation in accordance with Foundever standards.
• Responsible for effectively administering both brick and mortar on-site and remote systems
• Work closely with peers in the deployment of Microsoft updates, third party patching, application and operating system deployments, and Windows 11 development and servicing.
• Responsible for effectively administering both brick and mortar on-site and remote systems.
• Understanding of local system settings and Group Policy Objects within the Windows Operating System.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
• Understanding of deployments utilizing Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM).
• Understanding and configuration of Microsoft Intune MDM.
• Indepth Knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, Intune, DNS, network and proxy troubleshooting.
• Understanding and hands on experience and knowledge of Powershell scripting.
• Act as a Level 3 escalation point for complex technical issues.

Req Uired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years related experience required; or any equivalent combination of related training
• Extensive experience with at least one of the following technologies; Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) and/or Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager MDM.
• Experience managing Operating System, Application Deployment, and Patch management using SCCM or Intune.
• Exposure to Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
• Highly experienced with image creation/testing and deployment through SCCM/MECM or PXE environments.
• MCP preferred.
• Great experience of Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, Intune CSP creation, administration and troubleshooting
• Preferred experience of user/application/endpoint management, setup and scripting
• Preferred experience with Hyper-V and/or VMware or other virtualization environments
