Job summary

JPMorganChase in Bengaluru is seeking a Transformation Associate in our Finance team to design, refine and deliver data-driven solutions.

You will build automated processes using Alteryx and Python, develop Databricks/Sigma dashboards and optimize SQL queries, while collaborating with finance and technology teams.

The role requires 5+ years in finance/tech, BE/BTech/MCA, and strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/MCA or Bachelors degree in CS or related field.
• Excellent hands-on experience in Alteryx, Python, and SQL with ability to design workflows and write complex queries.
• Hands-on knowledge of Databricks and Sigma Dashboard Development for interactive dashboards.
• 5+ years of experience in the finance/technology domain.
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and build automated solutions using Alteryx and Python scripts for data processing, automation, and analytical tasks


• Directly build and support Databricks/Sigma dashboards to deliver information and data in ways that help drive the business and create efficiencies


• Build and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting


• Support the development of AI-driven solutions including LLM-based and Agentic AI applications where applicable


• Directly build and support Databricks/Sigma dashboards to deliver information and data in ways that help drive the business and create efficiencies.


• Query, analyze and transform complex data sets to optimize dashboard flexibility and performance


• Interface with finance and technology teams to design, develop, deploy and enhance dashboards


• Ensure all Databricks/Sigma development is in line with best practices, principals and standards defined by the Analytics team and complies with the spirit of the firm's overall data control standards


• Ensure the dashboards delivered of best quality and build a process around it.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• B.E/B. Tech/MCA (from reputed college) or Bachelor's degree in computer science.


• Excellent hands-on experience in Alteryx, Python, and SQL with proven ability to design workflows, build automation pipelines, and write complex queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting


• Hands‑on knowledge and experience in Databricks and Sigma Dashboard Development, with ability to build, design, and publish interactive, data‑driven dashboards


• Relevant experience of 5 + years in the finance/technology domain


• Curious, energetic, and highly proactive in nature and always focusing on opportunity arising from situations


• Execution and project management skills – Well‑developed organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities. Able to quickly and effectively respond to rapidly changing business needs and urgent requests. Scope projects and create workable project plans. Strong organizational, time management and follow‑up skills; flexibility, ability to prioritize requests and multi‑task


• Communications skills – Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills, a keen business acumen and the ability to synthesize “the story” for executive‑level audiences and adjust messages and style based on different audiences and agendas.


• Problem solving skills – Strong problem solving, and analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, gather and manipulate data, obtain consensus and support implementing change. Able to outline work process in a thoughtful and detailed manner. Intellectually curious with a genuine interest in knowledge gathering and problem solving

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Good knowledge and working experience in Prompt Engineering and LLMs, along with experience in building and deploying Agentic AI solutions will be a plus
