Job summary

Gallagher & Mohan Pvt Ltd. in India is seeking a detail-oriented R2R Accountant to join a finance team supporting real estate clients across US and Europe. You will handle journal entries, month-end close, and GL adjustments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, strong Excel skills, and experience with Yardi, AppFolio or QuickBooks. The role requires clear communication with US clients and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post Journal Entries, monthly reconciliations, and General Ledger adjustments.
• Handle Accounting operations for managed properties and corporate entities.
• Execute Month-End Closing activities including accrual entries and other key adjustments.
• Process Invoices, data entry, and maintain organized accounting records.
• Prepare, review, and analyze Monthly Financial Statements for properties.
• Track and process Utility Payments and ensure timely disbursements.
• Perform Bank, Debtor, and Vendor reconciliations to keep accounts clean.
• Address queries from residents, clients, and property managers regarding statements.
• Support management with ad hoc financial reporting and special projects.
• Conduct research and analysis on discrepancies to provide actionable insights.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive R2R candidate (Record to Report) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate flexibility in handling diverse responsibilities. You should be able to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude.

Job responsibilities:

• Prepare and post Journal Entries, monthly reconciliations, and General Ledger adjustments accurately and on time.


• Handle Accounting operations for both managed properties and corporate-level entities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.


• Strong knowledge of advanced accounting principles and general ledger processes.


• Advanced Excel proficiency with the ability to manage and analyze large data sets.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact confidently with US clients over calls.


• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and equipped with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

You must have:

• Willingness to work in Pacific Time (PST) shifts.


• 1–8 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance required.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills with clarity and professionalism.


• Hands-on experience with Yardi, AppFolio, or QuickBooks is a strong advantage.
