Job summary

Infosys is seeking a GIS ESRI Solutions specialist in Bengaluru with 3+ years in GIS ESRI implementations and strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills. The role involves developing GIS-based POCs, mapping customer requirements, and collaborating across forms/workflows integrations and mobile development.

Candidate should have PL/SQL Oracle knowledge, Oracle Spatial experience, and familiarity with ETL tools like FME. Travel to client locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years total IT industry experience with at least 3 years in GIS ESRI based Solutions.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Knowledge in Electric/Gas Transmission and Distribution domain.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL for Oracle.
• Familiarity with Oracle Spatial.
• Experience with ETL tool like FME.
• Should be familiar with Esri trends and roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Develop GIS based POCs to showcase ideas and present demos to business users.
• Map customer requirements into the product and suggest workarounds/solutions.
• Design forms, workflows and portlets, and integrate with required systems.
• Develop solutions on mobile platforms.
• Perform issue resolutions during support / Post-Go Live phase.
• Assist Testing team with the functional areas to be tested.
• Be a team player and help the project team with functional and technical issues.
• Participate in project review meetings (internal and with the client).
• Open to learning new GIS technologies as required.

Job description

• 3-6 years of total IT industry experience, with at least 3 years in implementing GIS ESRI based Solutions.
• Programming experience in Java Script, Type Script is required.
• Knowledge in Electric/Gas Transmission and Distribution domain
• Good interpersonal communication and analytical ability
• Ready to travel to client locations as needed Preferred:
• Proficiency in writing Stored Procedures, Functions in PL/SQL for Oracle
• Databases - Oracle Spatial
• Experience in ETL tool like FME
• Should be familiar with the latest technological trends in the GIS Industry and the roadmap of Esri solutions.
• Should be able to map the customer requirements into the product and suggest workarounds/solutions for the requirements
• Develop GIS based POCs to showcase ideas, present demos to the business users.
• Should be able to design the forms, workflows and portlets, and integration with the required systems.
• Should have expertise in development of solutions in the mobile platform.
• Should be able to perform issue resolutions during support /Post-Go Live phase.
