Job summary

KIA India Private Limited seeks a skilled Emission Lab Specialist to validate new models, conduct emission tests for various drive cycles, and coordinate with ARAI/ICAT for COP/ISC testing in Penukonda, Andhra Pradesh, India.

5–8 years of relevant experience required, with strong knowledge of Indian regulations and standards, and ability to train juniors. Strong documentation and audit preparation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Test Lab Driving Skills.
• Emission Test Lab Equipment’s Operation skills.
• Communication skills, and ability to document results clearly.
• Knowledge of Indian regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Validation of New Model / Production Vehicle as per regulation.
• Vehicle emission testing for Regular/COP/ISC/Durability cars.
• Report preparation, review & sharing.
• Coordination with ARAI & ICAT for COP & ISC testing.
• Scheduling for monthly emission test & calibration.
• Supporting for calibration & maintenance activity.
• Maintain technical records.
• Conduct verification tests for used standard method.
• Participate NABL, ISO 9001 & 14001 certification activity.
• Participate & provide training to subordinates.
• Conduct/participate internal audit and maintain records.
• Prepare procedure, work instructions and formats as per requirement.
• Handling & maintain stock of emission gas cylinders.
