Job summary

BERNARD Gruppe is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer/Tunnel Engineer based in Delhi/Faridabad, India. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience with a strong background in geotechnical design and supervision of large infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include independent design tasks, client interaction, and use of specialized software like AutoCAD and FEM. Candidates should be willing to travel and possess excellent English skills. BERNARD Gruppe offers varied projects and a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• 6 - 10 years of experience in geotechnics.
• Experience with design and supervision of geotechnical investigations.
• Willingness to travel within India.

Geotechnical Engineer / Tunnel Engineer

Tasks

• Independent geotechnical / geomechanical design
• Design and calculations for slope cuts, fills, conventional tunnelling, foundations, etc
• Active participation in meetings with clients and partners

Your Profile

• Experience: 6 - 10 years of experience
• Demonstrated experience with design of slope support in soil and rock, conventional tunnelling, planning and supervision of geotechnical investigation works for large infrastructure projects, preferably tunnels
• Demonstrated experience with relevant software for geotechnics (analytical and FEM)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Proficiency in standard office software (MS Word, Excel etc.)
• Experience with additional software is an advantage
• Languages: Fluent English
• Willingness to travel within India including short stays at project sites
