Job summary

Amrach Consulting Services LLP in India seeks a General Surgery - Laparoscopic Surgeon to perform laparoscopic procedures such as hernia repairs, gallstone removal and appendicectomies, and to provide comprehensive clinical care.

The role includes teaching medical students in classrooms and clinics, mentoring junior residents, participating in seminars and workshops, supervising staff, and managing admissions, investigations and treatments for patients on wards and in outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• MBBS degree with MS/DNB in General Surgery.
• Experience in performing laparoscopic surgeries is preferred.
• Ability to supervise and teach medical students and junior residents.

Responsibilities

• Operate laparoscopic surgeries like hernia repair, gallstone removal, appendicitis, etc.
• Independently perform basic laparoscopic procedures including Lap Cholecystectomy, lap appendicectomy, Lap inguinal and ventral hernia repairs, and diagnostic laparoscopy.
• Provide clinical care to patients with general medical conditions.
• Teach medical students in classroom and clinical settings.
• Participate in seminars, conferences, and workshops.
• Supervise and mentor junior residents and medical students.
• Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the department head.
• Monitor and provide general care to patients on wards and in outpatient clinics.
• Admit patients requiring special care, followed by investigations and treatment.
• Examine and diagnose medical conditions; carry out procedures and investigations.
• Teach and supervise junior doctors and medical students.

• Independently perform all Basic Laparoscopic procedures including Lap Cholecystectomy, lap appendicectomy, Lap Inguinal and Ventral Hernia and Diagnostic Laparoscopy.
• Provide clinical care to patients with general medical conditions
• Teach medical students in the classroom and clinical settings
• Participate in academic activities such as seminars, conferences, and workshops
• Supervise and mentor junior residents and medical students
• Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the department head
• Monitoring and providing general care to patients on hospital wards and in outpatient clinics.
• Admitting patients requiring special care, followed by investigations and treatment.
• Examining and talking to patients to diagnose their medical conditions.
• Carrying out specific procedures, e.g. Performing operations and specialist investigations.
• Teaching and supervising junior doctors and medical students.
