Job summary

ANG Placement & Staffing Solutions PVT LTD seeks a General Surgeon for a full-time position in India. You will evaluate and treat a broad range of surgical conditions, performing open and minimally invasive procedures with emphasis on patient safety and outcomes.

You will collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and specialists, manage preoperative and postoperative care, and participate in on-call rotations and trauma care as required.

Qualifications

• MBBS with MS in General Surgery or equivalent qualification.
• Valid medical license and registration with the medical council.
• Proven experience as General Surgeon with a strong portfolio of successful surgeries.
• Excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
• Strong decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in emergency or high-stakes situations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose surgical conditions in general surgery across GI, abdominal, hernia, soft tissue, and related areas.
• Perform open and minimally invasive surgeries using appropriate techniques.
• Oversee preoperative assessment, informed consent, and postoperative recovery.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists for safe care.
• Manage surgical complications and coordinate with ICU or other departments.
• Maintain accurate patient records, operative reports, and follow-up plans.
• Participate in on-call rotations, emergency surgeries, and trauma care.

• Evaluate and diagnose surgical conditionsin patients across a wide range of general surgery cases (e.g.,gastrointestinal, abdominal, hernia, soft tissue, appendectomy).
  
• Perform surgeries using appropriatetechniques, including open and minimally invasive (laparoscopic) methods.
  
• Oversee and manage all aspects of surgicalcare, including preoperative assessment, patient education, informedconsent, and postoperative recovery.
  
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists,nurses, and other specialists to ensure safe and effective surgical care.
  
• Manage surgical complications andcoordinate with ICU or other departments for complex post-operative care.
  
• Maintain accurate and detailed patientrecords, operative reports, and follow-up plans.
  
• Participate in on-call rotations,emergency surgeries, and trauma care when required.
  
• Adhere to hospital protocols, ethicalguidelines, and infection control standards.
  
• Engage in continuing medical education andstay up to date with advancements in surgical techniques and technologies.
