As a General Practitioner (GP), you will be responsible for providing primary healthcare services to patients of all ages. What the role entails – Key accountabilities/ responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and assessments.
• Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic illnesses.
• P$rescribe medication and appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide counselling on lifestyle, health, and disease prevention.
• Continuity of Care: Maintain ongoing relationships with patients for continuous care.
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Emergency Care: Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care. Stabilize patients before transferring to specialized facilities if required.
• Health Promotion: Educate patients on preventive measures and healthy lifestyle choices. Conduct screenings for diseases and risk factors.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers.
