General Manager Preschool Franchise Expansion

Job Summary
Franchise India is seeking a result-driven and experienced General Manager – Preschool Franchise Expansion to lead and scale our preschool franchise vertical. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving franchise network growth, onboarding high-potential partners, ensuring market expansion, and leading strategic initiatives to position our preschool brands as industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Franchise Network Expansion
- Identify and evaluate potential markets for preschool franchise growth (tier 1, 2, and 3 cities).
- Drive end-to-end franchise acquisition process: lead generation, presentations, negotiations, and closures.
- Develop strategic growth plans to expand the preschool brand footprint across India and international markets.
Franchisee Onboarding & Relationship Management
- Oversee the franchisee onboarding process including documentation, training, and compliance.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with franchise partners to drive satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a central point of contact for all partner-related escalations and support.
Strategic Planning & Market Analysis
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify growth opportunities and trends in the preschool sector.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine franchise models, pricing, and value propositions.
- Support product and curriculum development teams with market feedback and innovation insights.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, legal, operations, and academic teams to ensure cohesive franchise launch and support.
- Coordinate with digital and offline marketing teams to execute lead generation campaigns and brand-building initiatives.
Compliance & Brand Standards
- Ensure all franchise partners adhere to operational standards, curriculum quality, infrastructure guidelines, and brand policies.
- Implement SOPs to maintain consistency across franchise units.
Key Requirements
- Education: Graduate / MBA in Business Administration, Marketing, or Education Management.
- Experience: 8–12 years of experience in franchise development, with at least 3–5 years in the preschool or early childhood education sector.
- Proven track record in multi-location franchise expansion and relationship management.
- Strong understanding of the education ecosystem, especially preschool licensing, infrastructure, and curriculum standards.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of franchise models.
- Ability to build relationships with HNIs, education entrepreneurs, and institutional investors.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capabilities.
- Familiarity with preschool curriculum, operational setups, and regulatory norms.
