Persistent is seeking a GenAI Lead in Pune to drive enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions. You will guide architecture, platform choices and RAG implementations while mentoring engineers and collaborating with product teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with GenAI platforms and LLM-based application development.
• Hands-on with one major GenAI platform (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI).
• Expertise in prompt engineering and AI application design.
• Design and implement RAG architectures for enterprise use cases.
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB or similar).
• Knowledge of semantic search, chunking strategies and retrieval optimization.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of cloud-native architectures, containerization and serverless tech.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing and production monitoring tools (LangSmith, Langfuse).
• Strong software design patterns, clean architecture and agile development.

About Position:

We are looking for a highly skilled GenAI Lead to drive the development and implementation of enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in GenAI platforms, RAG architectures, cloud technologies, and software engineering best practices while leading technical teams and delivering business impact.

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop enterprise Generative AI solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Lead the implementation of GenAI applications leveraging OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Google AI platforms.
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for enterprise use cases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and data scientists to translate business problems into AI solutions.
• Establish coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices.
• Ensure security, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization of AI solutions.
• Mentor engineering teams and contribute to technical excellence across projects

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong understanding of GenAI concepts and LLM-based application development.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major GenAI platform (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI).

• Strong understanding of software design patterns, clean architecture, and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
