Qualifications

About the Role

Join a collaborative team delivering production-grade web applications that create real business impact. As a Consultant, you will design and build enterprise-scale solutions across backend and frontend, with a focus on API development, secure integration, and reliable delivery.

You will use modern AI tools to improve development productivity, work with technologies such as Docker for deployment, and collaborate with global teams across the full project lifecycle. The role also includes supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative, innovative engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-quality web applications across backend and frontend.
• Convert Figma or similar UI designs into functional features using React.js and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Python, preferably FastAPI or Flask, with strong authentication and security practices such as OAuth2, JWT, and mTLS.
• Connect frontend components with backend systems through secure APIs.
• Containerize applications with Docker; Kubernetes orchestration experience is a plus.
• Apply best practices in testing, code quality, and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as pytest and Jest.
• Improve performance and scalability across the technology stack.
• Collaborate with DevOps, data scientists, and product managers to deliver features effectively.
• Use and advocate for advanced AI development tools, including GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, and ChatGPT plugins, to improve development efficiency.
• Support and guide colleagues while fostering a collaborative, innovative engineering culture.

Reporting Relationships

Reports to a Senior Consultant or Manager within IDT. Liaises with onsite/offshore teams to understand functional requirements and may mentor or direct junior team members on a need basis.

Qualifications

Required

• 3-5 years of professional experience in full stack engineering.
• Proven expertise in backend Python development, with hands‑on experience delivering production APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
• Solid frontend development skills with React.js , TypeScript, and component libraries such as Material UI.
• Practical experience with AI-enabled development tools and plugins, including GitHub Copilot and Cursor AI.
• Strong proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or SQL and caching technologies such as Redis.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Experience with agentic architectures or frameworks such as LangChain.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, AI workflow orchestration, or autonomous agent design.
• Familiarity with Storybook, Ladle, JFrog, and DevOps toolchains.
• Experience integrating with artifact repositories and secrets managers, such as Doppler.
• Working experience with Node.js, Java, .NET, or related frameworks.
