Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a software engineer to design, build, and deploy AI agents using Foundry and Studio to address real business problems. The role focuses on developing agent capabilities such as tool calling, multi-step planning, memory patterns, and RAG integration.

You will integrate workflows with APIs, databases, event-driven services, and internal tools, while enforcing governance, security, and observability for production readiness.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in software engineering with production deployment experience.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents in AI Foundry and Copilot Studio.
• Strong understanding of LLMs and prompting patterns (system prompts, JSON outputs).
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and grounding techniques.
• Knowledge of integrating GenAI with REST APIs, microservices, and databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (Must-Have)

• 3-5 years in software engineering (Python/Java/TypeScript or similar) with production deployment experience.


• Hands-on experience building AI agents in AI Foundry and Copilot Studio (agent workflows, tool integration, deployment).
