Position Summary:

We’re expanding our Product and AI Innovation team and looking for a GenAI Engineers to lead the design and deployment of Generative AI solutions that power Saarthee’s products and client platforms.

As a GenAI Engineer, you’ll work on LLM-based architectures, prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and GenAI-powered application development. You’ll collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to integrate generative models into real-world business workflows driving automation, personalization, and decision intelligence.

This is a high-ownership role suited for innovators who love experimenting with the latest in AI and delivering production-grade solutions at scale.

Your Role Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI models and LLM-driven applications.
• Work on prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and custom LLM adaptation for domain-specific use cases.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Engineers to integrate LLMs into analytics, automation, and workflow products.
• Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems using vector databases and knowledge retrieval pipelines.
• Develop and manage end-to-end GenAI pipelines — from data preprocessing to inference and deployment.
• Experiment with open-source and commercial LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Llama, etc.) and evaluate their applicability to product needs.
• Create APIs and microservices that embed AI capabilities into products and enterprise systems.
• Optimize model latency, cost, and performance in production environments.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate ideas into scalable, user-friendly GenAI applications.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in Generative AI, NLP, and multimodal AI — driving innovation within Saarthee’s product ecosystem.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.
• 4–7 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 1–2 years focused on Generative AI or LLM-based development.
• Hands‑on experience with Python and libraries/frameworks such as LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI API, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
• Practical knowledge of LLM fine‑tuning, prompt design, and embedding models.
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, Chroma) and RAG pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for model hosting and deployment.
• Experience building APIs, chatbots, or GenAI-powered applications for enterprise use cases.
• Strong understanding of NLP techniques, tokenization, and model evaluation metrics.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving, experimentation, and communication skills.
