Job summary

Epam Systems in Pune is seeking a GenAI Engineer with 4+ years of software development experience to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge Generative AI solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, NLP and agentic workflows.

You will lead technical strategy, mentor teams, implement production-grade systems, and extend MLOps, CI/CD, and cloud deployments on AWS/GCP/Azure, translating research ideas into scalable, robust production systems.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years in software development, focusing on Python, backend development, and Generative AI technologies.
• Proven expertise in Python, APIs and hands‑on experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, Transformers, LlamaIndex, etc.).
• Deep understanding of RAG systems, embedding techniques, and vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate).
• Practical experience building agent‑based architectures using LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of NLP fundamentals including summarization, Q&A, chatbots, semantic search, and entity extraction.
• Experience with MLOps, model versioning, CI/CD, Docker and cloud‑native deployment on AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Ability to translate complex research ideas into practical, deployable solutions
