Job summary

LTIMindtree is hiring a GenAI Developer to design, build, and deploy Generative AI solutions using LLMs, Python and modern AI/ML frameworks. The role focuses on real-world enterprise use cases, AI agents and RAG workflows with vector DBs, APIs and data preprocessing.

The candidate will collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to ensure secure, scalable GenAI deployments across PAN India and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in AI/ML/GenAI development.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based applications and GenAI.
• Familiarity with retrieval augmented generation (RAG).

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy Generative AI / LLM-based applications.
• Build RAG pipelines using enterprise data.
• Work with LLMs like OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or open-source models.
• Develop AI apps using Python and AI/ML frameworks.
• Implement prompt engineering, optimization and evaluation.
• Develop AI agents/workflows where applicable.
• Work with vector databases like Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, Weaviate, or Azure AI Search.
• Integrate GenAI solutions with enterprise apps via APIs.
• Perform data preprocessing, embeddings and semantic search.

Job Description

LTIMindtree is looking for an experienced GenAI Developer to design, develop and deploy Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Python and modern AI/ML frameworks.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building LLM-based applications, RAG solutions, AI agents and GenAI integrations for enterprise use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy Generative AI / LLM-based applications.
• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using enterprise data.
• Work with LLMs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude or open-source models.
• Develop AI applications using Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks.
• Implement prompt engineering, prompt optimization and evaluation strategies.
• Develop AI agents / Agentic AI workflows where applicable.

Mandatory Skills

• 38 years of experience in AI/ML / GenAI development.
• Strong hands-on programming experience in Python.
• Practical experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with RAG architecture and LLM application development.
• Strong understanding of Prompt Engineering.
• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain / LlamaIndex.
• Knowledge of Vector Databases and Embeddings.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of NLP, Machine Learning and AI concepts.
• Familiarity with Git and software development best practices.
