Job summary

Virtusa is seeking a senior GenAI expert to lead key initiatives in the GenAI Center of Excellence, driving real-time project implementations and R&D on new product POC.

The role requires hands-on experience with diverse GenAI models, LangChain, and vector databases, with strong Python and data engineering skills. You will architect scalable solutions and mentor a team across cloud providers.

Qualifications

• 6 to 20+ years of experience in GenAI, data analytics, or digital engineering.
• Hands-on experience with real-time GenAI project implementations, not just POC.
• Proficient in Python and at least one big data/ML stack.
• Experience integrating multiple LLMs via APIs and using vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead GenAI COE initiatives and R&D on new product POC.
• Provide solution architectures for various business use cases.
• Architect scalable API-based solutions and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Mentor and groom a team of developers across GenAI technologies.

Skill Required - Real time Gen AI Project Implementation experience and not just POC experience (Gen AI, RAG, LLM, Langchain, Python..........)

Responsibilities -Should lead key initiatives in GenAI COE on new tech trends, R and D on new product POC Work on proposals, Provide solutions architecture design solution on different business use cases Ability to work across various different GenAI Models and cloud providers Should have a strong experience in implementing projects inDigital EngineeringOrData AnalyticsTechnically lead a team of developers and groom talent Extensive implementation experience indata analyticsspace or a senior developer role in one of the modern technology stack Excellent programming skills and proficiency in at least one of the major programming scripting languages used in Gen AI orchestration such as Python orPySparkorJavaAbility to build API based scalable solutions and debug & troubleshoot software or design issues Hands on exposure to integrating atleast one of the popular LLMs(Open AI GPT, PaLM 2, Dolly, Claude 2, Cohere etc.) using API endpoints. Thorough understanding ofprompt engineering; implementation exposure to LLM agents likeLangChain& vector databases Pinecone or Chroma or FAISS Basicdata engineeringskills to load structured & unstructured data from source systems to target data stores. Build and maintaindata pipelinesand infrastructure to support Hands on exposure to using cloud(Azure/GCP/AWS) services for storage, serverless-logic, search, transcription and chat Extensive experience withdata engineeringand should be hands on in usingAgentic AI Framework,RAG.
