Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Hyderabad is seeking engineers to manage our Open WebUI fork, administer the self‑hosted n8n setup, and own the end‑to‑end support lifecycle across Dev, QA, and Prod environments.

You will contribute to the AI Platform and help optimize CI/CD pipelines, while collaborating with a cross‑functional Agile team to deliver reliable software updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, systems administration, DevOps, or technical support.
• Version Control Proficiency: Practical experience using Git/GitHub, including managing branches, merging, and handling forks of open‑source projects.
• Containerization Basics: Basic understanding of Docker and deploying containerized applications.
• Multi‑Environment Management: Familiarity with deploying applications across separate lifecycles (Dev, QA, Prod).
• Strong Troubleshooting Skills: Excellent analytical skills with a passion for triaging infrastructure issues and resolving user support requests.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to interface directly with internal users and collaborate effectively within an Agile team.

Responsibilities

• Open WebUI Lifecycle & Environment Management: Maintain our in‑house fork of Open WebUI. Pull and test the latest community updates, and manage deployments across our Dev and Prod environments (supporting ~2,500 active users in Prod).
• n8n Instance Administration: Manage our self‑hosted n8n application across three distinct environments (Dev, QA, and Prod), ensuring uptime, performance, and reliability.
• Support, Triage & Operations: Own the end‑to‑end technical support lifecycle for both Open WebUI and n8n. This includes infrastructure troubleshooting, monitoring, triaging user‑reported bugs, and coordinating issue resolution.
• AI Platform Development: As time permits, contribute directly to the development of our broader AI Platform, writing code and collaborating with senior engineers.
• Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI/CD): Maintain and optimize pipelines to automate the build, testing, and deployment of updates to our managed applications.
• Collaboration & Agile Practices: Work closely with the AI Platform engineering team. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
