Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Gujarat seeks an experienced Cloud Database Engineer to manage and optimize cloud databases. You will work with Google Cloud managed SQL services, Spanner, Bigtable, and related data services, focusing on installation, tuning, replication, and security.

Role involves hands-on configuration, performance optimization, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of configurations and procedures for enterprise-grade systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Cloud managed SQL services (Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
• Experience with Cloud Native DB (Spanner, Bigtable, DataStream, Memory Store, Redis).
• Hands-on in installation, configuration, performance tuning and optimization of cloud databases.
• Experience with replication, schema design, query optimization, and data security procedures.
• Regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security of databases.
• Exposure to configuring and managing network devices and services.
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
