Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a Google Cloud Data Engineer in Chennai to design and implement large-scale data pipelines on GCP, leveraging BigQuery, Airflow, and other GCP services. The role requires strong Python and PySpark skills, Linux proficiency, and experience building CI/CD pipelines for data releases.

You will participate in data modeling, cloud-based data lake/warehouse modernization, and architect scalable data platforms while communicating effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Experience in Google Cloud Platform-based Big Data deployments (Batch/Realtime).
• Hands-on with BigQuery, Airflow, Cloud Storage, Data Fusion, Dataflow, Dataproc.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines in GCP-based big data environments.
• Develop data models and modernize data warehouses / data lakes on the cloud.
• Create and promote CI/CD pipelines for big data release deployments.
• Build monitoring and logging for data pipelines and data platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps.
