Job summary

Embarkgcc Services is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer with 5+ years in GCP to design and optimize data pipelines. You will implement DBT models, governance, and Airflow workflows while ensuring data quality and cost efficiency in BigQuery.

Require strong SQL, Python, and cloud security knowledge; experience with cross-cloud pipelines is a plus. This is a full-time role based in India with on-site work in Uttar Pradesh.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in GCP and data engineering.
• Strong DBT, Airflow, and SQL proficiency.
• Hands-on with BigQuery tuning and cost management.
• Experience with DBT Cloud, governance and tests.
• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git hosting.
• Experience in data modelling (facts/dimensions, SCDs).
• Understanding of cloud security IAM best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize GCP data pipelines end-to-end.
• Implement DBT models, tests, and governance.
• Build robust Airflow workflows and scheduling.
• Ensure data quality and cost-efficient BigQuery usage.
