Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong Python and GCP expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based solutions. You will collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to enable data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities include building ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataflow and Airflow, modeling data in BigQuery, and ensuring security and governance across data platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python for data engineering and automation.

• Hands-on experience with BigQuery and SQL.

• Experience with Cloud Composer / Apache Airflow.

• Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL optimization.
• Experience working with REST APIs and different data formats such as JSON, CSV, and Parquet.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, and data governance.

• Troubleshoot production data pipeline issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Ensure data security, governance, access control, and compliance requirements are followed.
• Prepare technical documentation for data pipelines, architecture, and operational processes.
