Job summary

Atanic Software is hiring a GCP Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data warehouse solutions on Google Cloud Platform across India. The role focuses on building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer, while ensuring data quality and governance.

You will work with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to develop robust data models, implement IaC with Terraform, and drive CI/CD for data workflows.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of data engineering experience.
• Proficiency with GCP services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data warehouse solutions using BigQuery.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines with Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer.
• Write complex SQL queries, views, procedures and data transformations.
• Ingest data from on‑premises and cloud sources; ensure data quality and governance.
• Implement IaC with Terraform and monitor production pipelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data warehouse solutions using BigQuery.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer.
• Develop complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and data transformations.
• Integrate data from various on-premises and cloud data sources.
• Implement batch and streaming data ingestion using Pub/Sub and Dataflow.
• Optimize BigQuery performance, partitioning, clustering, and query costs.
• Design dimensional data models, star schemas, and fact/dimension tables.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines.
• Work closely with Data Analysts, BI Developers, and Data Scientists.
• Automate deployments and data workflows using CI/CD pipelines.
