Job summary

Nextenti Tech seeks a Consultant Gastroenterologist in Jagdalpur to diagnose, treat and manage a wide range of GI, liver and pancreatic disorders. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures with a focus on patient-centered care.

You will collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and oncologists, maintain documentation, educate patients, and ensure compliance with infection control and hospital protocols. MD/DNB/DM qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and digestive disorders.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (endoscopy, colonoscopy).
• Manage emergency gastrointestinal cases and provide timely interventions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor clinical progress.
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, oncologists and other professionals for comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and procedure reports.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention and treatment options.
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and infection control practices.
• Stay updated with advances and evidence-based gastroenterology practices.
• Participate in departmental meetings, audits and CME activities.
