Job summary

Tata Technologies in Pune invites a Functional Perceived Quality Lead to drive gap and flush requirements for interior and exterior vehicle fit from concept through launch. You will coordinate section analysis, KPI tracking, and validation of geometry at the vehicle level.

You will lead target-setting workshops with product styling, engineering, quality and manufacturing, ensuring targets are feasible and aligned with design practices.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 6 years in automotive Gap and Flush.
• Experience with target setting and KPI convergence.
• Strong GD&T and perceived quality knowledge.
• Familiar with Datum strategy for interior and sheet metal.
• Experience with body shop and general assembly processes.
• Excellent communication and convergence skills.
• Proficient in CAD tools CATIA/UG NX and PLM.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior/exterior fit and finish gap/flush requirements from concept to launch.
• Manage gap/flush section book and KPI.
• Section analysis and validation of geometry at vehicle level.
• Validate design practices with CATIA/UG NX CAD tools.

Functional Perceived Quality Lead

Job Description:

The development of interior and exterior vehicle fit and finish (gap/flush) requirements from vehicle concept phase through launch.

Manage gap and flush section book and associated KPI

Section Analysis and Validation of Geometry at the Vehicle level.

Validation and ensure of the Design Practices Respect using CATIA/ UG NX Cad TOOL

Leading target setting workshops, and working closely with product styling, engineering, quality and manufacturing throughout all design phases to ensure targets are feasible.

Support Vehicle builds, plant issues and provide solution

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical

Minimum of 6 years experience in automotive areas of Gap and Flush

Target Setting , Dimensional risk Analysis and Converging with CFT .

l Well Versed with Datum Strategy for Interior and Sheet Metal parts.for Body and Interior.

Should have Knowledge on GD&T ,Perceived Quality.

Should have knowledge in Cation ,PLM or UG TC

Worked on Sheet Metal and Plastics components

Statistical basis and monitoring plans

Body Shop and General Assembly process

Synthesis and reporting project KPI

Team Work

Must have good Communication skill. & Must have Good Convergence skill.
