Job Description Oracle Fusion ERP Functional Consultant

Position: Functional Consultant / Senior Consultant / Manager

Experience: 6-10 Years

Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Oracle Fusion ERP Functional professionals with 610 years of relevant experience to join one of our Big 4 client projects. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in one or more Oracle Fusion Financial modules and proven hands‑on implementation experience.

The candidate should be experienced in requirement gathering, business process mapping, functional configuration, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live activities. Candidates with strong functional and end‑to‑end implementation experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to end‑to‑end Oracle Fusion ERP implementation projects.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle Fusion solutions.
• Configure and implement Oracle Fusion Financial modules based on business requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, test scenarios, and user documentation.
• Conduct SIT, UAT, issue resolution, and support activities.
• Provide functional guidance and troubleshoot Oracle Fusion ERP issues.
• Participate in data migration, integrations, cutover, and go‑live activities.
• Support post‑production stabilization and continuous process improvements.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to project delivery and client management.

Required Functional Skills

Strong experience in Oracle Fusion ERP Financials, with expertise in one or more of the following modules:

• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• General Ledger (GL)
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Cash Management (CM)
• Project Financials / Project Costing

Candidates with experience across multiple modules will be preferred.

Required Experience

• Candidates must have strong functional experience in Oracle Fusion ERP.
• Must have worked on Oracle Fusion implementation projects, preferably end‑to‑end/full‑cycle implementations.
• Experience should include requirement gathering, business process mapping, solution design, functional configuration, testing/UAT, deployment, and post‑go‑live activities.
• Candidates with only production support/maintenance experience will not be preferred.
• Should have strong understanding of Finance business processes and the ability to interact directly with clients/business stakeholders.
• Experience in multiple Oracle Fusion Financial modules will be an added advantage.

Preferred

• Experience in multiple Oracle Fusion Financial modules.
• Experience in end‑to‑end implementation and at least one full‑cycle implementation.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion integrations and data migration.
• Experience in client‑facing roles.
• Relevant Oracle Fusion certifications will be an added advantage.
