Job summary

Mareana is seeking a Fullstack AI Developer to advance our enterprise‑scale SaaS products. You’ll design intuitive frontend experiences with React.js/Next.js and build robust backend services using FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Redis.

You’ll collaborate across teams to integrate AI/ML features and contribute to the product roadmap in a fast‑moving environment. You will work on multi‑agent AI capabilities, performance tracking, and scalable deployment, while focusing on maintainable code and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience building enterprise SaaS products is a plus.
• Ability to design scalable frontend and backend solutions with AI/ML integration.

Job description

At Mareana, we build enterprise‑scale AI products for Supply Chain and Unstructured Data. With the rapidly changing business landscape, we need Fullstack AI Developers who can evolve our products to stay ahead of the curve — engineers who are equally comfortable shipping polished front‑end experiences, building robust backend services, and integrating AI/ML and agentic capabilities directly into our product roadmap.

What You’ll Do

• Stay abreast of the latest modern trends to build an intuitive and simplistic design, in alignment with client requirements
• Build solutions that can apply to a large audience, increasing scalability and high performance
• Increase the appeal of the application and product through effective and engaging designs
• Interact with other developer teams and design teams to discuss UI ideas
• Thoroughly review application needs and interfacing elements
• Follow proper documentation for changes in application and further updates
• Contribute to the product roadmap by researching and integrating AI/ML initiatives, including multi‑agent applications, into scalable, production‑ready features
• Collaborate on deployment and performance tracking of AI-driven features in both real‑time and batch processes, systematically analyzing metrics to ensure optimal system functioning

Requirements

• Proficient in FastAPI — routing, dependency injection, background tasks, middleware
• Pydantic — data validation, serialisation, settings management
• PostgreSQL — schema design, indexing, query optimisation, migrations using Alembic
• Redis — caching, pub/sub, session storage, rate limiting
• Experience with PySpark and big data technologies is an advantage
• Exposure to enterprise‑scale SaaS architecture using Micro‑services and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure is a plus

UI / Front‑End Requirements

• Strong proficiency in React.js & Next.js (JSX, Hooks, Context API, SSR/SSG, Virtual DOM, component lifecycle)
• TypeScript expertise with ES6+ (variables, scoping, array methods, DOM manipulation, event handlers)
• State management using Redux Toolkit / Zustand / React Query (Flux architecture understanding)
• Styling with Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, shadcn/ui, Radix UI
• Build tools: Vite / Webpack, Babel, Create React App
• Performance: Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, code splitting
• Unit & E2E testing: Vitest / Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright
• RESTful APIs & GraphQL consumption from the frontend

AI/ML & Agentic Development

• Ability to build multi‑agent applications and contribute to AI/ML‑driven features as part of the product roadmap
• Proficient in AI‑assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot for faster coding, debugging, and code review
• Ability to use AI to generate applications, write tests, refactor code, and document APIs
• Comfortable working on large‑scale product development and data science‑driven projects

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
