RIA Advisory in Hyderabad, India is seeking a Full Stack Engineer specialized in Oracle Cloud Fusion OICS and VBCS to join our engineering team.

The ideal candidate will own end-to-end Oracle Cloud ERP OICS & VBCS development, oversee integrations, data mapping, and testing, and drive security, scalability, and performance. This role requires strong Oracle expertise and experience leading distributed teams across time zones.

Full Stack Engineer - Oracle Cloud Fusion OICS, VBCS & JAVA

Role Profile

We are looking for dynamic and forward-looking Full Stack Engineer - Oracle Cloud OICS & VBCS Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling OICS, BIP Reporting development, including the setup, configuration, and management, as well as coordinating OCI support and owning the Oracle Cloud ERP OICS & VBCS Development team member. The candidate must have full understanding the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of large-scale implementation of Cloud Fusion.

Responsibility includes development and implementation of critical test cases with focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance. Partner with development teams and work towards addressing and fixing production issues on cloud, defining and implementing product improvements. Collaborate with various cloud operations teams to understand the production issues and build a reproducible test case in the lab environment to present to the development team.

Background

Client has embarked on a Finance Transformation program to modernize finance operations and deliver greater business value. The program focuses on driving efficiencies and enabling growth through the implementation of a unified, cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Performance Management platform built on Oracle Fusion, EPM, EDM, and OICS.

As a Full Stack Engineer - Oracle Cloud OICS & VBCS Engineer, will be responsible for:

• Business Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business partners to elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive reporting requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Integration Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement sophisticated integrations between Oracle Cloud applications and external systems using Oracle Integration Cloud Service (OICS), PL/SQL, Python, Java and VBCS.
• Integration Architecture: Define and implement integration architectures that align with business requirements, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• API Development: Build and handle APIs using OICS to expose data and functionality from various systems, enabling flawless integration.
• Data Mapping and Transformation: Design and implement data mapping rules and transformations to ensure accurate data flow between systems.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and complete comprehensive test plans to validate the accuracy, performance, and reliability of integrations, identifying and addressing any issues.
• Deployment and Support: Deploy integrations to production environments and solving issues and implementing improvements as needed.
• Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Create clear and concise documentation for integrations, including design specifications, user guides, and maintenance procedures.
• Support and Maintenance:
• Provide ongoing support for existing reports, addressing user inquiries, solving issues, and implementing improvements as needed to maintain report efficiency.
• Handle and work with Oracle support, consulting teams and should have a through understanding of the process that is involved taking care of Oracle SRs.
• Work independently and tackle problems and are willing to do what it takes to get things done.
• Ability to establish relationships and influence outside of authority while demonstrating Oracle expertise and resources.
• Effective interpersonal skills (written and spoken) and strong problem-solving skills

Knowledge/Skills

• Experience building features with technologies Oracle Cloud Fusion, OICS, REST services, PL/SQL, Paython, Java and VBCS.
• Solid understanding in finance business process functions, including R2R, P2P, O2C and Oracle RMB.
• Data modelling, designed and implemented ETL interfaces/mappings to load data into DWH as per business and reporting requirements
• Very good knowledge and expertise following the industry standard process/methods like Agile, DevOps, SDLC.
• Certifications: Relevant Oracle OICS certifications, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certifications or Oracle Fusion Applications certifications.
• Industry Expertise: Specific confirmed experience in areas such as finance, human capital management, supply chain.
• Experience and Skill of leading virtual teams, partner across interpersonal boundaries and influence development direction and Ability to empower, grow and guide developers.

Experience

• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Fusion, OICS, BIP Reporting, REST services, Java, ADF, SOA, PL/SQL, Python, Java and VBCS, Oracle Database ADW Applications Seeded Customization Framework, OATs. PSR Tools, Accessibility Testing Tools preferred
• Experience in continuous delivery, deployment and monitoring of cloud-based services.
• Experience handling Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion Applications infrastructure and leading end to end operations for change control boards
• More than 6 to 9years of experience in Oracle ERP applications Implementation
• Experience working within a Finance Technology function, preferably with large Financial Services Organization.
• Experience in driving high availability, resiliency, and scalability of a global Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion Applications landscape delivering metrics-driven continuous improvements.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
