Job summary

Techila Global Services is seeking a skilled MERN stack developer to build and maintain web applications. You will create reusable UI components with React.js and implement robust APIs using Node.js and Express.js, designing MongoDB schemas for scalable data access.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality features, write clean and well-documented code, and participate in code reviews to uphold engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and React.js.
• Backend experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Hands-on MongoDB knowledge (schema design, queries, indexing).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using the MERNstack(MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
• Build responsive and reusable UI components using React.js
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js
• Design and manage databases using MongoDB
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Use Gitfor version control and collaborate via pull requests
• Debug, optimize, and improve application performance
• Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices

Required Skills (Must Have)

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with React.js(Hooks, component lifecycle, state management)
• Strong backend experience with Node.jsand Express.js
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB(schema design, queries, indexing)
• Experience using Git(GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket)
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and promises

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of Redux / Context API
• Familiarity with JWT / OAuth authentication
• Basic knowledge of Dockerand CI/CD pipelines
