Job summary

Bain in India is seeking hands-on AI/ML professionals to design, build, and deploy agentic AI systems and LLM-powered applications that automate analytical workflows for AMS case teams. You will develop multi-agent workflows using LangGraph, LangChain, and Azure AI Agent Service, integrating tools, memory, and reasoning loops.

You will craft RAG pipelines with vector search and knowledge graphs, engineer prompts and safety guardrails, and build full-stack apps (React/TypeScript, Python/FastAPI,

Qualifications

About you

• Design, build, and deploy agentic AI systems and LLM-powered applications that automate analytical and business workflows for AMS case teams
• Develop and orchestrate multi-agent workflows using LangGraph, LangChain, and Azure AI Agent Service, integrating tools, memory, and reasoning loops
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines, combining vector search with knowledge graphs where relevant
• Engineer, evaluate, and refine prompts and LLMs, implementing guardrails, evaluation harnesses, and human-in-the-loop feedback for accuracy and safety
• Build full stack applications end to end: responsive front-ends (React/TypeScript), backend APIs and services (Python, FastAPI), and database design (PostgreSQL/Snowflake)
• Deploy, scale, and operate applications and AI workloads on Azure, optimizing for performance, cost, and reliability
• Build and maintain CI/CD and MLOps/LLMOps pipelines using Docker and Git, with observability, logging, and monitoring of model quality, latency, and drift
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and consulting teams to translate business problems into scalable solutions
• Provide technical thought leadership and may manage simple cases independently
• May have first-level team management responsibility, including allocating and reviewing work for a small team of analysts and conducting performance/feedback discussions

Who you will work with

The Consumer Products Center of Expertise collaborates with Bains global Consumer Products Practice leadership, client-facing Bain leadership and teams, and with end clients on development and delivery of Bains proprietary CP products and solutions. These solutions aim to answer strategic questions of Bain’s CP clients relating to brand strategy (consumer needs, assortment, pricing, distribution), revenue growth management (pricing strategy, promotions, profit pools, trade terms), negotiation strategy with key retailers, optimization of COGS etc.

You will work as part of the team in CP CoE comprising of a mix of Director, Managers, Projects Leads, Associates and Analysts working to implement cloud-based end-to-end advanced analytics solutions. Delivery models on projects vary from working as part of a CP Center of Expertise, broader global Bain case team within the CP ringfence, or within other industry CoEs such as FS / Retail / TMT / Energy / CME / etc with BCN on need basis
