Job summary

Infosys is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with AI engineering emphasis in Bengaluru. You will design and deliver features across React/Angular frontends and Java/Node.js backends, integrating REST APIs and Kafka streams.

You will apply prompt engineering for AI-generated code, ensure security and quality, and contribute to multi-agent AI workflows while advancing CI/CD practices and observability standards.

Qualifications

• Experience building end-to-end features with modern frontend and backend tech stacks.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and messaging (Kafka).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and prompt engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver end-to-end features across React/Angular frontends and Java/Node.js microservices.

Role & responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and deliver end-to-end features across React/Angular frontends and Java/Node.js microservices, integrated with REST APIs and Kafka-based event streams.
• Own prompt structuring, validation, and refinement for AI-generated code ensuring correctness, security compliance, and adherence to Citizens' engineering standards.
• Leverage AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) by authoring customisations agents, skills, hooks, MCP servers, and plugins to accelerate development without sacrificing quality.
• Build multi-agent AI applications using Agent SDKs to orchestrate workflows where agents collaborate or hand off tasks to each other.
• Implement and champion test-driven development (TDD) across unit, integration, and contract testing layers using Jasmine/Jest/Karma.
• Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and cloud-native deployments on AWS/Azure using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
• Maintain observability standards structured logging (ELK/Datadog), alerting (Prometheus/Grafana/AppDynamics), and performance profiling.
• Collaborate with product, design, and architecture teams to translate business goals into scalable, compliant technical solutions.
• Manage parallel workstreams and evolving requirements, ensuring incremental and continuous value delivery through agile practices.
