Job summary

Selah Digital is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer Intern to build product features from scratch across frontend and backend. You will develop APIs, business logic, and user interfaces, and own features end-to-end from requirements through delivery.

Ideal candidates have backend experience with Node.js, Python or Java, know REST APIs and SQL databases, and are comfortable using AI tools for coding and debugging.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer Intern who is passionate about building products from scratch and excited to work with modern AI-powered development tools.

What You'll Do:

• Build and develop product features from scratch across frontend and backend
  
• Develop APIs, business logic, database integrations, and user interfaces
  
• Debug, test, and deploy applications
  
• Work with Git/GitHub and follow good coding practices
  
• Take ownership of features from requirement to development to delivery
  
• Collaborate with the team and learn new technologies as needed
  

This internship is a potential pathway to a Full-Time Software Engineer role. Conversion will be based on technical ability, problem-solving, ownership, code quality, teamwork, and overall contribution to the product.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Backend experience with Node.js / Python / Java or equivalent
  
• Knowledge of REST APIs and SQL databases
  
• Good understanding of Data Structures, OOP, and problem-solving
  
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub
  

AI Skills:

• Comfortable using ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI tools
  
• Ability to use AI for coding, debugging, testing, research, and documentation
  
• Must be able to understand, review, and validate AI-generated code
  
• Experience with LLM/AI APIs is a plus
