GSSTech Group is hiring a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web platforms using Node.js (backend) and React.js (frontend) in Chennai. The role emphasizes building business platforms, with a focus on risk and compliance domains, delivering high-quality software through RESTful APIs, testing, and collaboration with product, QA, and DevOps teams.

You will work across the stack, optimize performance, ensure security, and participate in code reviews

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of full‑stack web development with Node.js and React.js.
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+) with HTML5/CSS3 skills.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices; testing with Jest/Mocha/Chai/Cypress.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile workflows.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using?Node.js (backend)?and?React.js (frontend)

• Write clean, testable, and efficient code with proper unit and integration testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps
• Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness
• Participate in code reviews and follow best engineering practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

Required Skills

• Strong experience in?Node.js (Express.js/Nest.js preferred)
