Teladoc Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, test, and support full-stack applications with a focus on Ruby on Rails and React. You’ll work with engineers, product managers, and partners to deliver reliable software and participate in deployments and on-call rotations.

The role involves hands-on development, API design, and production support in a healthcare-facing environment. AI-assisted tooling is encouraged to speed up delivery.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help build and support applications used across Teladoc Health.

This is a hands-on full-stack role. You will spend most of your time designing, building, testing, and supporting software, with a primary focus on Ruby on Rails and React. You will work closely with other engineers, product managers, and technical partners to solve problems and deliver reliable software to production.

We are also adopting AI-assisted development tools as part of our engineering workflow. We value engineers who know how to use tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar tools to speed up development, testing, debugging, and documentation while still applying good engineering judgment.

Healthcare experience is a plus. Experience with FHIR, HL7, Mirth Connect, EHR/EMR integrations, or other healthcare interoperability technologies is helpful, but it is not required.

• Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with healthcare data privacy and security, including HIPAA.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor.
