Job summary

Uplers in Noida is seeking a full‑stack engineer (MEAN stack) to own the platform end‑to‑end—from database models to the Angular UI and real‑time services. You will build APIs, integrate CRM, messaging, calendars, and lead handling, while ensuring performance and reliability.

You should have shipped production MEAN apps, be comfortable with Node.js, Express, Angular, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL, and have experience with real‑time/telephony and LLM API integrations.

Qualifications

• Shipped production MEAN stack applications (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js)

About The Role

You''''ll be the person who builds the machinery behind our platform. Here that means the product our clients run their business on: the dashboard they use to configure their AI agents, the inbox where conversations land, the CRM that turns a conversation into a lead. It also means everything underneath it: the APIs, the real-time services, the integrations, and the data models that hold it all together. This is not a feature-ticket role. It''''s a build-and-own role. You''''ll own features end to end, from the database schema to the screen a client uses to change their agent''''s greeting. When something breaks, slows down, or silently fails in production, you''''re the one who finds out why — and fixes it.

What You''ll Do

Platform & full-stack product

• Build the core product: agent configuration (tasks, behaviour, guardrails, AI config), conversation logs and history, analytics, and bulk campaign controls.
• Design and ship the Node.js/Express services and APIs — orchestration, queueing, webhooks, retries, file and data storage — that hold up as usage grows.
• Wire the platform together: CRM contacts and tickets, WhatsApp messaging and follow-ups, calendar and booking integrations, Google Sheets and Meta lead-form ingestion.
• Ship clean, usable Angular frontends for our team and for clients — the agent configurator, the inbox, the review and reporting screens.

Real-time systems & integrations

• Build and harden real-time features: live inbox updates, notifications, streaming data, and event-driven workflows.
• Integrate third-party APIs and providers — messaging, CRM, calendars, LLM providers — and handle their quirks, rate limits, and outages gracefully.
• Implement non-blocking background jobs and integrations — lookups, bookings, CRM writes — so the product stays fast and never loses data.
• Evaluate tools, libraries, and providers, and help decide what we build on next.

Reliability, cost & scale

• Instrument everything: API latency, error rates, queue backlogs, integration failures, infra cost. Build the dashboards that tell us something''''s wrong before a client does.
• Bring down infra and third‑party costs without hurting quality — query optimisation, caching, smarter provider usage.
• Debug production incidents on live client accounts, reproduce them, and fix them at the root.

Working with the team

• Pair with the prompt engineer and customer success on what the platform needs for agents and clients to succeed — new integrations, better fallbacks, better internal tooling.
• Turn what you learn from client deployments into reusable platform capability, so the next client takes hours to onboard, not days.

Roughly 80% of your time is hands‑on engineering: writing code across the stack, debugging production issues, shipping. The other 20% is with the team and occasionally clients — understanding what''s breaking in the field and deciding what the platform should do about it.

What We''re Looking For

Two things are non‑negotiable. Please apply only if you meet both — they''re the first thing we screen for.

• ** You''ve shipped production applications on the MEAN stack.** Not a tutorial project, not a hackathon — a system real users depended on, built with MongoDB, Express, Angular, and Node.js, where you owned significant parts of it and kept it running.
• ** You''re a full‑stack engineer who can build the whole thing.** Backend services, APIs, real‑time transport, databases, and a frontend a client can use without a walkthrough. You don''t need a separate team to ship a feature end to end.

Beyond that, we don''t care much about degrees or years. We care that you can:

• Go deep in every layer of the MEAN stack, not just use it — with TypeScript throughout.
• Build and debug real‑time systems: WebSockets, event‑driven architectures, queues.
• Integrate with third‑party APIs and messaging platforms (WhatsApp Business API, CRMs, payment gateways) and handle their quirks in production.
• Design MongoDB data models and APIs for a multi‑tenant SaaS: contacts, conversations, tickets, workflows, role‑based access.
• Measure and profile before you optimise, write code others can read, and document what you built.

Nice to have: experience with LLM APIs and tool/function calling, real‑time voice or telephony (OpenAI Realtime, LiveKit, Pipecat, SIP providers, or similar) GCP/AWS at scale.
