Job summary

EXL is seeking a skilled backend-focused software engineer to develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using Python, Node.js, or Java. You will collaborate with UI/UX, product managers, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end features and design RESTful APIs.

The role requires strong database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL), exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and hands-on experience with CI/CD, Git, and containerization tools.

Qualifications

• Back-End: Hands-on experience with Python, Node.js and/or Java.
• APIs: Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs.
• Databases: SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB).
• Version Control: Git / Azure DevOps or equivalent.
• CI/CD: Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and AWS CDK.
• Cloud: Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
