Job summary

Role & responsibilities

• Proficient in .NET (C#) and Python for backend development.


• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.


• A partial, unordered list of additionally useful skills includes CSS3, HTML5, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.


• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.


• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, DBT, Talend and other data ingestion/ETL tools.


• Comfortable working in an Agile and DevOps environment.


• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Postgres and snowflake).


• Hands-on experience building and maintaining cloud-based applications on Microsoft Azure.


• Exposure to AI/ML frameworks or cloud-based AI services (e.g., Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI, TensorFlow, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy web applications using the Microsoft .NET, Python, React, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure Cloud technologies.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.


• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices.


• Perform unit testing to ensure the quality and functionality of developed applications.


• Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during the development and testing phases.


• Collaborate with team members to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.


• Monitor and optimize application performance to ensure high availability and scalability.


• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Qualifications we seek in you!

• 3+ years of experience in a full-time development role. Academic projects and/or side projects may be considered as well.

• Good understanding of microservice architecture development.


• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.


• Experience with AI/ML frameworks or cloud-based AI services


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.


• Strong understanding of scaling and migrating to newer version of .NET
