We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on infrastructure, security, and vulnerability management. This unique hybrid role combines hands‑on technical responsibilities with the critical function of a Technical Project Manager for our Vulnerability Management Program. The successful candidate will serve as a crucial liaison between development, information security, platform, and infrastructure teams, driving security initiatives across the organization. Responsibilities
- Act as the Technical Project Manager for the Vulnerability Management Program, overseeing its lifecycle from identification to remediation.
- Orchestrate and manage vulnerability remediations across diverse and complex infrastructure environments.
- Develop and implement comprehensive OS patching strategies and execute patching across both on‑premises data centers and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Design, build, and maintain robust metric dashboards to visualize and track security posture, compliance, and overall infrastructure health.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison, fostering effective communication and collaboration between development, information security, platform, and infrastructure teams.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and execute vulnerability remediations, ensuring timely resolution of security risks.
- Apply full‑stack development principles to integrate security best practices into software development lifecycles and collaborate on secure implementations.
- Perform advanced Linux System Administration tasks, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of critical systems.
Qualifications
- Required:
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in system administration, full stack development, or infrastructure security.
- Strong expertise in Linux System Administration, including advanced configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience acting as a Technical Project Manager, specifically driving Vulnerability Management Programs.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain comprehensive metrics dashboards for security, compliance, and infrastructure health reporting.
- Extensive hands‑on experience with OS patching strategies and execution across hybrid environments (on‑premises data centers and AWS cloud).
- Expertise in identifying, analyzing, and executing vulnerability remediations on complex infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to effectively bridge gaps between technical teams.
- Solid understanding of full‑stack development principles to facilitate effective collaboration with development teams on security implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
- Preferred:
- Relevant certifications such as RHCE, AWS Solutions Architect/Security, CISSP, or CISM.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet).
- Familiarity with leading vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
